Our Commitment to Sustainability
At Underfoot, we believe that great socks shouldn't cost the earth. We're committed to creating quality products while minimizing our environmental impact and supporting ethical practices throughout our supply chain.
Sustainable Materials
We're constantly working to increase the use of sustainable and recycled materials in our sock collections:
- Organic Cotton - Grown without harmful pesticides or synthetic fertilizers
- Recycled Polyester - Made from post-consumer plastic bottles, reducing waste
- Bamboo Fibres - A renewable, biodegradable alternative to conventional materials
- Responsible Wool - Sourced from certified farms with high animal welfare standards
Ethical Manufacturing
We partner with suppliers & factories that share our values and maintain high standards for worker welfare, fair wages, and safe working conditions. All our manufacturing partners are regularly audited to ensure compliance with ethical labour practices.
Reducing Our Footprint
Packaging: We use recyclable and biodegradable packaging materials wherever possible, and we're working to eliminate all single-use plastics from our operations.
Carbon Reduction: We're committed to measuring and reducing our carbon footprint across our entire supply chain, from production to delivery.
Waste Reduction: Our manufacturing processes are designed to minimize waste, and we work with partners to recycle or repurpose production offcuts.
Quality & Longevity
The most sustainable sock is one that lasts. We design our products for durability with reinforced heels and toes, quality materials, and expert craftsmanship, so your socks stay comfortable and looking great for longer.
Our Journey
We know we're not perfect, but we're committed to continuous improvement. We're transparent about our progress and always looking for new ways to reduce our environmental impact while delivering the quality socks you love.
